Happy Holidays Amigos!
Last year we made 50 Head Start children very happy with your generosity. It's been another tough year. While things are getting better, times are hard for Head Start families any year. In the spirit of the season, let's help make the holidays a little brighter for a family in need. Be an Anonymous Amigo (a.k.a. Secret Santa) to a Head Start child*.
Here's how:
1. Register by December 3
2. On/around Nov 29, Helen will email you the name of a child and a list of items the parent has said the child would like (Parents were asked to list a book, toy/game, and art/craft and to tell us what the child's favorite characters, animals, and activities are. That will help to choose a gift).
3. Decide what you want to give the child. Max spend is $20.
4. Wrap your gift , put a tag on it with the child's name and your name on it, and get it to Helen by Friday, December 17, so she can deliver it to the Head Start center.
Gifts will be given to the children on Dec. 20. Unfortunately, because of covid-19 and all that, we will not be able to gather at the school to give the gifts ourselves.
Thank you in advance of your support.
Helen
