MEMBERSHIP Details

The Disco Amigos is a social club that showcases Disco themed creative talents through events, parades and performances.  Any person 21 years old or older with a love of disco, dancing and having a good time is welcome to join – no try-outs required.
There are 2 main membership levels available:
– PERFORMER
– BOOGIE KREWE
The club year is from June 1st through May 31st. New members can join at anytime during the year

ALL MEMBERS have access to:

  • Dance rehearsals, parades, performances and events that the Disco Amigos participate in, as well an open invitation to the club’s social events.
  • Refreshments and restrooms during Mardi Gras parades.
  • Serve on any standing committee and can also be elected to the Board of Directors.

BOOGIE KREWE – $75 (USD)

  • Assist Performers and Production Team at events, parade and performances throughout the year.
  • Responsibilities can include distributing refreshments to Performers, carrying the Disco Amigos Banner, handing out Disco Amigos signature throws, assisting with crowd control and removing debris from the Performer’s area.
  • Must purchase a club approved t-shirt
  • All BOOGIE KREWE members have the opportunity to become a PERFORMER.

PERFORMER – $250 (USD)

  • Learn choreographed dances by attending regularly scheduled practices and reviewing club provided videos as needed.
  • Have the opportunity to dance in Disco Amigos events, parades and performances throughout the year.
  • Must purchase a club approved uniform.
  • All PERFORMERS have the option to be part the Boogie Krewe at any event, parade or performance throughout the year.
