It's time to strut our stuff in competition with 19 other dance krewes!

The Dance: Our reprise of "On the Radio" by Donna Summer

The Look: To honor the occasion, we'll be dressing as vampires. Wear your basic black dress and/or pants (black shirt for men) without the gold vest and cuffs. A short cape will be provided (it looks like this: minicape.png), and you'll just need to get yourself some fangs.  But you might be saying, "Vampires in the sunlight? That seems off..." Well, in the movie Twilight, it was revealed that vampires stay out of the sun not because it's deadly, but because it makes them sparkle!! So we can glitter ourselves up and it all makes sense.

The Rules: Since this is a competition, we want to rock the house. That means that if you don't know the dance well enough to do it by yourself without watching anyone else, then you're not ready for this. We'll have a staging rehearsal Monday night (5/16), and it's critical to attend if you're planning to perform.

The Run of Show: We have no idea. There are 20 performing groups, and it's not clear what the order will be. It could be a long afternoon, so be prepared to cheer on the other groups and patiently wait our turn to dance. Once we're taken the stage, the pressure is off and we can enjoy some cocktails, but please slow your roll until after we perform.
