Girls on the Run (GOTR) is non-profit organization that educates, inspires, and empowers young girls in New Orleans to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. By harnessing the power of running, GOTR helps 3rd-8th grade girls develop the social and emotional tools to cope with the challenges of adolescence. The season culminates with a 5k as a way to celebrate the girls' completion of the program.
